Erik is a passionate landscape designer dedicated to harmonizing nature with every project he undertakes. With an extensive knowledge of native plants, shrubs, and trees of the Northeast, he specializes in crafting creative and sustainable landscape designs. Over his career, he has successfully completed more than 400 landscape installations with Country Mile Gardens, earning a reputation as a trusted consultant capable of transforming even the most neglected properties into thriving, beautiful spaces.

A graduate of Rutgers University with a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Erik brings a deep understanding of ecological design principles and sustainable planting solutions. His expertise allows him to assess each site’s unique conditions—including sun exposure, soil moisture, and environmental challenges—to develop designs that flourish over time. Raised in Randolph, NJ, Erik has firsthand experience working in deer-prone areas, further refining his ability to select resilient plant materials that thrive in challenging conditions.

Erik’s lifelong passion for plants began at the age of nine, giving him an intuitive understanding of how landscapes evolve over decades. His dedication to budget-conscious yet high-impact designs ensures that every project is both beautiful and enduring. Before joining the landscape design industry, Erik honed his skills in the fast-paced world of pharmaceutical convention management, where he mastered white-glove, concierge-level service and meticulous project execution. This background translates seamlessly into his client-focused approach, where he consistently exceeds expectations through thoughtful design and attentive service.
